The Alder House was built in 1926 on a brick street a few blocks from Park Avenue, in the years when Winter Park was filling with Mediterranean houses for winter residents. Its 2023 restoration kept the carved stone door surround, the iron balconies, the beamed living room ceiling and the arched steel windows, and replaced everything you cannot see.
The living room runs the width of the house, with tall windows onto the oaks. The kitchen, in deep green marble and white oak, opens to a breakfast room and a garden loggia at the back. Upstairs are four bedrooms, including a primary suite above the garden.
