The streets

The oldest neighborhoods sit on brick streets under live oaks that meet overhead. Park Avenue runs along a long central park, lined with shops and restaurants, and a small college sits on the shore of Lake Virginia at its southern end.

The lakes

Several lakes are joined by narrow canals shaded by cypress. A scenic boat tour has run through them for generations, and owners with a lakefront dock can make the same trip any evening they like.

A Saturday here

The farmers market in the morning, a walk along Park Avenue, an hour in a museum with a celebrated collection of Tiffany glass, and dinner outside under the oaks.
